Christine and Jason's Circus Juventas Wedding
Christine and Jason adore one another. They share a bright sense of humor that is honest, endearing, and totally unique. They also love things that are dark and unusual, So, their Circus Juventas reception was a perfect fit.
Christine converted to Judaism from Buddhism to marry Jason, but that didn't stop them from beautifully integrating both of the faiths that they grew up with into their wedding day. We started the day with Christine in a red dress for the Buddhist tea ceremony at her parents house. Jason had to bribe and clown his way into the house to see his bride, then they received gifts from and offered tea to everyone in Christine's family. Her grandmother even Skyped in from China. A quick change into her white wedding gown and we were ready to head outside for some early winter portraits. As the sun went down, we went to Adath Jeshurun for the Havdalah service that marks the end of Shabbat. Circus Juventas was beautifully set for all of the guests AV For You did a great job washing the room in beautiful saturated colors. The performers soared overhead in between the first dance, toasts, and the best Hora we've ever seen. The whole day was orchestrated by the immensely talented Anna Senrick of Fete Perfection who made things possible. A huge Thank You to Lindsey ThorneΒ for helping us out, always a pleasure working with her relentless wit, laughter and talent.
Congratulations Christine and Jason
