Melissa and LC's - Desert Engagement Session

I first met Melissa years ago when we were still in high school, we both competed in a little something called the Junior Miss Pageant. I liked her instantly; she was a ball of energy and a total spitfire. We shared the same sense of humor and bonded over our lack of coordination. During that week, we were so inseparable that people called us peanut butter and jelly. Melissa and I lost touch with each other until the days of Faceboook. Then, one day, she contacted us through our webpage.  She was living in Indiana, had an awesome career, and had met an equally awesome guy,LC, and they were going to be getting married and she hoped we would come photograph it.  Her email made my heart sing.

After countless emails, phone calls, and text messages they pinned down a date and location: Virginia.  "Yes to mountains, yes to canoes, and no to cell phones."  Not only are Melissa and LC both super smart, they're both funny and love creating adventures wherever they go.  Speaking of adventures, the four of us met up a few weeks ago in Las Vegas for their engagement session.  While most people were just getting to sleep the four of us headed out for a session that included a little city shooting and a trip out to the desert at dawn.  It was awesome reconnecting with Melissa and meeting LC. You guys, I'm really holding myself back from making a cheesy PB&J reference here but, really, they're just a perfect couple. Eli and I can't wait to get out to Virginia and shoot their wedding this September.
