Married: Maggie & Cory

"Rock solid individuals."  That's how Maggie's father described the couple during his toast and we feel the same way about these two.  From Cory's volunteer work as a Big Brother to Maggie's career as a pediatric oncologist they both demonstrate kindness, generosity and fearlessness in everything they do.  Not to mention they know how to throw a pretty awesome party. This wedding was extra special for us.  We've worked with Maggie's family a few times, including their family vacation last summer at Lake Delavan.  When it came time for their wedding, we felt more like old friends who had the privilege of photographing a huge celebration.

Every element of the day had sentimental meaning for Maggie & Cory. The girls started out the day getting ready at Room No 3 (co-owned by a family member) while the guys enjoyed a shave and gathered to watch the USA vs Russia Olympic Hockey game. We met for portraits on the UofM campus, where Maggie works, and then headed to Church of the Assumption in St. Paul where Maggie's uncle presided over the ceremony.  Friends of the couple serenaded guests during cocktail hour at Aria, followed by an all night dance party.

A big thank you to Krista and Stephanie from Park Place Planning, the ladies at L'Atelier Couture, and the super duper talented Munster Rose.

Maggie & Cory, thank you for giving us free range to make beautiful photographs, for trusting us, and for just being yourselves throughout the whole day.
