Dog Portraits - Elvis and Priscilla

I'd never spent much time around greyhounds before the day of our shoot, so I'd never seen how alternately elegant and clumsy they can be. Their movements are so beautiful when they are on point, but their spindly legs can be a liability too. Priscilla broke her left front leg just a week after this shoot while playing. She's had surgery and is on her way to what I hope is a full and speedy recovery. Jeanine and Curt, thanks so much for having your pups in to the studio and for all your hard work with Greyhound Pets of America, these dogs are very special.
