Engaged: Dana & Greg

I'm pretty sure I'll never forget the night of Dana & Greg's engagement session.  We had been shooting for about 15 minutes in Dana's family's backyard when it started sprinkling, minutes later it was raining vigorously and Eli suggested we get inside. From there, we moved to Dana's house a few blocks away.  Dana and Greg love lots of laughter over good food and good wine so we thought it fitting that the two just relax in the kitchen while we photographed them and let the storm pass.  Meanwhile, the storm picked up speed, the power flickered, and Eli got drenched making one of these photos (totally worth it, I say!).  Once the skies cleared, we loaded up our cars again and headed over to Piccolo--an amazing and intimate restaurant where Greg proposed over the winter.  None of us realized the severity of the storm until we came across dozens of up-rooted trees, closed roads, and downed power lines.  Eli and I loved getting to know Dana and Greg even better over dinner, drinks, and more photos at Piccolo.  There was a lot of laughter all night which makes me really look forward to their wedding in September.
