Married: Eddie & Jo's Big Sur Wedding
Camping. 3am wake up calls. Rain dampened hair. Guests dressed in ponchos. These aren't things that usually evoke all the romantic and warm fuzzy feelings about weddings. An early morning wedding in the foggy riverbeds of Big Sur isn't everyone's ideal but it was perfectly fitting for one of the most adventurous couples we've met. The day unfolded a lot like this:
Us: "Hey Jo, it's raining but can I take your dress outside?"
Jo: "Totally! It's going to get wet when I wear it anyway!"
Us: "Hey guys, how about you take your shoes off and climb on that rock in the middle of the river?"
Eddie: "Done."
Us: "So, uh, we thought it'd be cool to mount this camera inside your Jeep to trigger remotely while you're driving."
E&J: "Cooooooollll"
Us: "Oooh, look at that cliff! Can you guys get up there?"
E&J: ....crickets.... We turnaround and they've already summited said cliff while wearing identical triumphant grins.
Nothing gets these two down; an unexpected twist is simply an opportunity for awesomeness.
Eddie & Jo, from running around in Chicago together (they literally went RUNNING for their engagement photo session) to navigating the winding roads of Big Sur together, please consider us friends for life. Our matching friendship bracelets are in the mail.
